Hi everyone,
I am new to this site and wanted to say hello. I have a coral that I can not ID. I will have to post pictures later this evening. Let me see if I can discribe it. The polyps on the coral looks exactly like a xenia when they are out but have a short stalk, and they retrack completely back into the skin when distrubed. The coloration of the skin is a light pinkish color and the polyps look like a form xenia. I really do not think it is a xenia because xenia polyps retrack completely into a skin and xenia's do not do that. The skin resembles the same texure as a star polyp, a thin layer kind like a form of sea mat but when all the polys are in it looks smooth like a leather. I know this sounds really confusing, will post pictures soon. Thanks
