beautiful tank. can you also share with us the specs? i mean lighting, food, weekly routines, additives like aminos...

3x 250 watt 10k xm se with 110 watts of t5 actinic lighting. adding more actinic thoe.actinics on 12 hours and halides on for 8 hours, reverse lighting also with lots of frags on the back side of the tank. acros, zoos, favia, ect

i make my on food i use all mostly natural, lobster ,cod, shrimp, scollops, crab meat, silversides, 1 cap full of seachem aminos, 30 drops of boyds vita chem. 1 cap full of seachem garlic guard, a pinch of dts oyster eggs and a dash of two little fishes phyto and zoo plankton dried, and seaweed, then i blend in the blender till a liquid .spoon it out it into icecube trays and freeze for a hour or two, cut peices of to feed to the fish and the corals at the same time.anemones love this stuff!!! my anemone try to rip my finger off.

change filter socks every coulpe days, change the carbon once every other week, change rowa once every other month. run a ca reactor at full bore. kalk in top off. alk 9.6 - 9.9 cal 420-430 mag 1350 sal 1.24-25 phos 0. run skimmer wet

and try to keep my hands out of the tank as much as possible. i cleaned the class today you can see the bottom oh that reminds me about 1 inch out sand but slowly taking out most of it.

I've come to see first hand lately, just how much keeping ones hands out of the tank can lead to good growth. LOL... on the last pic..
 
thanks sue, she is a sport, i know i used to be like a mad scientists with my tank ,and had troubles all the time, do water changes every other week 10-15 gallons. and test every other and make sure the equipment is working.
 
Isn't that the very rare Acropora "phylla-yur-buttis"? I hear they can grow well in low light locations and are an easy coral to "rear" from frag to full colony.:razz:
