What size tank are you thinking of putting it on?
I used to have one on my 30gallon and when I first got it, it was great, but after a few months if stopped pulling out gunk even if I cleaned it.

Get a maxi jet 1200 and mesh modd that pump for the cpr bak pak skimmer. It doubles the power of that skimmer.

it's for a friends 55gal. i told him this is an area that it is not worth skimpin out on but who dosent have a budget?!?!?
