Not unless it has something to crawl up. I can't imagine a crab crawling out of the tank. Are you missing one, or did you find one on the floor?

no I just couldnt find him all day... i new if he was still in the tank he wasnts gonna come out till night time...

theres stuff for him to crawl his way out... but what are the chances of him going to Dry land

It sure wouldnt suprise me. I once had a FW crawdad that liked to turn into a fur ball quite often. Maybe it decided to find a better tide pool.

he probably just moulted.....he will pop up all shiny and new in a day or 2.

i found him in a big shell.... LARGE shell... its probly about 1.5" in length and hass some big big claws... thats why hes in the Qt tank now.
