my wife was helping me clean the tank.she was scraping the algae off of the glass.she is afraid of it biting her.it chased her hand out of the tank and he literally jumped out of the water chasing after her.wow talk about territorial

Mine do that too. They don't like me cleaning anywhere near their house. Touchy touchy.

Marlin - what species of clowns are they? Some are more territorial than others.

My GSMs and my Domino Damsels do that. Sometimes they hit hard too.

And on another note...my tang likes to play games with me when my hand is in the tank. If I make a "C" against the glass he will swim through it... over and over and over..

I have a Maroon clown that will eat out of my hands...friendly as can be, and they're supposed to be the meanest. On the other hand, I have a mated pair of Black Occellaris that draw blood when they hit you. Not only that, the female goes after you every time you put your hand in the water. In fact, she's also jumped out of the water as she was chasing my hand out of the tank. She hit me while my hand was about an inch above the surface. She's NASTY!!!
