Yesterday the hippo tang was MIA almost all day yesterday. Ended up digging thru my rock. Couldn't find her.
Finally gave up.
Turned around. Hit the pump switch and boom she appeared.
Lol
Then today lights come on.
And my dang clownfish disappeared.
Thinking to myself wtf.
So instead of digging up my rock again I thought I'd do the usual check of behind around, top of water.
You know. Regular hiding places.

I find this after checking the regular holes.

What the......

Thought I'd share. :D

I just netted one of my green chromis out of my sump. It's crazy they have no damage after traveling down through all the piping.

Haha is that what happens, they flop into the overflow.
Good thing their not bigger :)
I've had a snail clog my little drain.

What I think it was is my daughter is always looking down there looking for Something. Now I know she was finding nemo. :)

my velvet damsel jumped my 34 solana and landed in the ato bucket. he was just swimming ther in cold fresh ro/di water just fine. super weird. just put him back by net and he acted normal waiting for food. very social fish.

My melenarus went through the overflow three times before I finally covered the top. I honestly think he liked it in the filter sock :frusty: Stupit fish

Man that is crazy. I guess damsels are the hardiest thing in the sea afterall. I'm glad it made it through the "fresh water dip" :)

I have had my wrasse I purchased last month end up in the sump twice. The last time he made it through the bubble trap and was hanging out with the macro algae and all the 'pods' he could eat. Put a cover on the overflow to keep him in one spot.....

Lol seems as we've all had this fun experience of tracking down your fish.

The one about in the filter sock would be funny to see.

I got some plastic canvas at JoAnn's Fabric and constructed a barrier basket with it and small zip ties around my overflow so my little bar gobies don't go swimming in the sump. They look like they could go right between the overflow slots, so I decided to try and prevent that. Your clownfish just wanted to explore your whole system.
