These are some great fish to be had as they come out of QT, was just there to see first hand.... damn I need a bigger tank or another tank. The Randals Anthias pair is so sweeeeet plus always nice to see healthy Tangs as in the Powder Blue, Blonde Naso and tiny Hepatus. If anyone is need of a custodial bright yellow fish there at least a couple of Yellow Coris Wrasses that will take care of Pyramidal Snails and keep Asterina Stars in check.

Cheers, Todd

If you need something to eat asterina's, harlequin shrimp will definitely take care of that and any other starfish you may have. The yellow coris wrasse will eat feather dusters, flat worms, tube worms, pyramidal snails, and make great tank mates with other wrasses.

Becca, I'm looking at ordering some stuff from Indo-Pacific sea farms (detrivores) and if you order a certain amount they give you 6 free comet starfish (asterinas). Is this something you don't want in your tank, or just not taking it over? Plus, it looks like the yellow coris wrasse is a good one - what other wrasses are good in a reef tank? They can't be jumpers.

I have a Coris wrasse in my DT tank and it is a great fish not shy and always swimming around searching for food its a great fish gets along with everyone I also have a flasher wrasse and a cleaner wrasse and they all get along great. The coris wrasse make addition to any reef tank.

Matt, asterinas are good to have in the system, they eat coraline and other types of algae. If they ever get to plentiful for your liking you can also get a Harlequin shrimp, although they will eat any starfish. As far as jumpers all fish can be jumpers, a Melanarius is a pretty wrasse and will eat bristle worms, and gets along with other wrasses, marble wrasse is another nice wrasse, cleaner wrasses are good as well(not as pretty looking as some of the other more colorful wrasses).

Sounds like there are lots of good wrasses to choose from. So many decisions, guess it's time to start thinking about my next tank! :)

What's the chance of getting an update on your fish that's available I might be making a trip over the mountains tomorrow.

+1 on the fish. Just got rid of an angel. I could use something that eats red flatworms!!!!

When you bring new fish out of QT, would you say they are safe to add straight to someones display tank?
Or do you reccomend additional QT when we buy them?

We always recommend that you QT your new fish. Our two week QT is just a start, it is by no means a replacement for your own QT.

Thanks for the list of new arrivals. If its not to much trouble what is available now also.

blotched rabbit fish
watchman gobies
whip fin fairy wrasse

harptail blenny
african blue steel damsels

Are the damsels aggressive and how many do you have and what's the cost
Thanks
We have two of them. Damselfish are semi aggressive, as long as they have space they shouldn't bother any other fish. They are about 3" and run 29.99

Cool thanks I will stop by and see whats new and check things out. My plans change for tomorrow so I will see you guys Saturday instead and will let people know what you got to see if they want me to pick anything up for them while I am there.
Thanks again
