Custom Strip LED lights

I just found these searching for LED lights for tanks.

These seem to be too good to be true. Does anyone have any thoughts?

They do exactly what the title states, they can be used for accent lighting, but as far as main lights for a full reef, probably not a good idea, if you are going to go with the flex strip look at the 3014's SMD. I still would not use them for high light demanding corals, but your lower light demanding corals might be alright.

I'm doing FOWLR so I really don't care about corals.

Close comparison will be those 1 foot led lights you buy from car shop stores to accent your car, flexible strips. But the one you are buyin is 16 feet so that should be plenty.

If you do buy them let us know what your review about them.... and lots of pics tooo...

If I choose to get them I for sure will write up something with pictures, apparently the string is 16.4 feet long and you can cut it every three LED lights.

I'm also considering the LED bulbs for the T5 fixtures.

they are a custom strip light that is dimmable... hmmm very interesting.

Yes very interesting, however they will not sustain any photosynthetic animals so keep that in mind.
