cyano eating snails?

found these on a site that i think is a quality vendor but this sounds too good to be true. are there some that will really eat cyanobacteria (red slime)?Tegula funebrallis is the scientific name. hoping to find someone who really knows for sure about these or others that are similar eaters.
 
I've never heard of them eating cyano but I suppose anything is possible.

The main problem with black turban snails is that they are from temperate waters and don't live long at our higher reef tank temperatures. They would be great for a coldwater tank though.
