Did i mess up???

In my rush to get the water in the tank and everything i didnt rinse the sand off :shock: will this be a problem??? Im just thinking it will just take longer getting the water to clear up. Im running the skimmer and running carbon..Thanks guys for the help im sooooooo excited to have the tank up and running again

prolly just wait for the water to clear!
You could help it along by putting a filter sock on your overflow output if you have one

Yeah, no need to worry. It'll just be a waiting process for it to clear up.

You'll be fine. Some people don't wash on purpose thhey say it help pack the sand in a DSB.

Yep, you'll be just fine. You'll need to use a turkey baster to blow the dust off the glass and powerheads and such, but it'll eventually all settle. If you have a HOT Magnum or Magnum canister filter, running that, along with the micron filter will clear it up in no time.
