Check this out and let me know if I need more hermits. Or emerald crabs? I have one Emerald and probably 7 safely hermits.

It wiggles like a detritus krish.
I'm probably just stressing out. Ever since I swapped tanks and tried to get anemone because I was told by my friend I had enough light. I got lazy for the first couple months. Then in jumped into a nem. Dunno if you've seen my topic flooding but now that I've been paying attention again I've been a worry wort. :)

I already think I lose my nem today. ;(

Usuallyy tanks are really clean and stable. But like I said I got lazy when I swapped to a bigger tank

My leds being finished will make me very happy. Then I won't worry about lighting. just parameters and keeping things happy. :)

scrub it off, might just be some type of sponge. i clean off my rocks with a turkey baster, works real good

as needed, clean em off real good the first time and just remember what your clan rocks should look like. i do it maybe every other week

Agree. How long has it been since your swap. What kind of fish? I only have 2 hermit crabs in my 215. They tend to knock corals over that arent glued down as well as kill snails for their shells, even if they dont take the shell. I have extra shells for them to grow into if needed. I would just blow your rocks off with the turkey naster 2x a week depending how bad it is. My hair algae outbteak was real nad for some reason after i moved. I was blowing the rocks off 2-3x a week and feeding real lightly. Idea is to remove as much of the food source (detritus) that the algae feeds on. Also, brissle tooth tangs do good at cleaning the rocks (kole tang comes to mind) as well as shortening your time the lights are on.

shorted my lights from 11 to 8 hrs.
i will have to clean it up. i swapped tanks about 2 months ago, i will not be moving the tank at all for a while now.
