I know this looks like crap but I was board yesterday (snow)
And I had to use what I had!
The nail holes are visible but this is just a practice and a quick (three hours) job! And I know it's bigger than my tank but my light fixture is 36" and my tank is 30"!!! I liked the idea of 96w PC's instead of 65w for the 30" fixture!
More power!!!!!!!!!!!
What's a guy to do!
This was more just to get my new moon lights, (led's) installed without the cords every where!
THINK I HAVE ENOUGH MOONLIGHTS!??????? (they are not as bright as the spendy ones from fish web sites! I love christmas time)
10 bucks at walgreens!

Thanks it was a quick one!
I left two small holes in the bacl on top and one big hole in the bacK for ventilation!
Also I have hinges on the top for removal and access!
the hristmas leds aren't so bright so about 50 of them gave me a dark dim blue tint to the entire tank!!!
How bout that ice gell order?

I like them moonlights hmm I mean Christmas lights oh no I mean moonlights. :)

Good job lookin good.
Alex

yep saved lots on moon lights! Chads a smart guy!!!
If i was to buy ten blue leds for fish approx 100+
these were 6.99!!! LOL

Thanks guys!
Now the question of the day is ??
How tall would I have to make it to get a 250w MH in it and not "BURN" everything in my tank!
Right now the top is only 10-11 inches from the top from the water!

I have all my bulbs 9" (bottom of the bulb) from the water.
I wouldn't go much lower than 8".
