Ok so I have acrylic, I'm going to make my own lid for my wife on her dwarf seahorse tank. Any body have a suggestion on acrylic glues that can handle a evaporation, And a led diy kit about 6" To 9" above it

Weldon is usually used to glue acrylic. I can't remember which number you need though, but Weldon is the way to go. :)

The funny thing is, I'm cutting just two pieces of acrylic, then I will attached from the scrap acrylic like arms to rest on the tank itself, I have a couple of ideas. I'll have to draw them out and post them. Or make both  and show you guys

You can weld acrylic with either Weldon # 3, 4, or 16, You can get the # 3 ,and 4 at any plastic store Keltech, in Tacoma, Tapps Plastic in Bellvue. # 16 can be bought at McLendons.
The acrylic arms you speak of will sag. Possibly the entire lid, due to the heat and humidity. Lets see your thoughts.

Ok peppie I understand that it could sag, ? How would I go about preventing it. Thinker acrylic. Or would heating it And bending it to what I am looking for be better, than cutting, gluing, and pressing To bond it. Basically 90 degree angles.

What did you use to heat that one?? A weed burner maybe???? LOL

I would need to see what you want to do with the acrylic before I could give you any solid info on the application.

Try to do a moch-up of what you are wanting to do out of cardboard or something.
