Hello all
DIY type Kati Ani filter
Bulk resin from spectrapure

I am looking for feed back for making a Deionizing Resin filter
I was thinking of using 6” PVC pipe
Do I feed the water into the bottom and collect it at the top
Or do I need to have a perforated center pipe like a pool sand filter
Or use a smaller diameter 2” but longer pipe
Any one has any links or pictures of a DIY filter for carbon or resin
So what’s the best way to go?

Wow! 6" diameter? That's awful big. My RO/DI unit makes 100 gpd and its DI cartridge is a fraction of that size.

To be conservative with your resin I would just buy a little canister for that purpose and just refill it when necessary.
