I was watching one lay its eggs or egg packs connected on a string. She let them drop to the bottom of the tank. ARe hermits likely to eat the eggs?

I had a mass spawning event with my trochus, and I did get babies (now have grown into adults) from the spawn: Trochus Mass Spawning. I've never thought that snail eggs could make it, but mine did. If the eggs don't survive, then they made a nutritious meal for an inhabitant or two. Did you notice any other snails releasing sperm into the water? (it looks like smoke coming from the snail)
