I am kinda losing faith in my Dolphin. I have had my ES 3500 for 2 years and I had to replace the rocker switch twice! I don't turn it off that often...maybe 3-4 times a year and it just wears out in that time. The REAL problem is i can't find the switch local and have to order it from the company in Florida...pay overnight shipping so it costs about $80 each time this happens. Has anyone else experienced this with Dolphin pumps?

So I sitting here thinking it may time for a change.........Looking at the VorTech pump. I have a 65 gallon, would one pump be enough?? Who out there are using them now? Likes.....Dislikes? This inquiring mind wants to know.:):)

Ok after looking these pumps up, they mount a switch on the pump, I'd replace it with a heavier duty switch or permanently bypass it completely & If you want a switch put one on the outlet that controls the pump, completely remove power from the pump. You need a little know how to do it but you can put in better than they offer & instead of $80 a pop you can pay $5 & do it one & for all, that doesn't make sense.
