Pretty sure thats a Favia species. The few places I have seen frags advertised also listed it as Favia...very rare though!

Are you sure its steve tyree.
The coral was originally exported from Jakarta Indonesia
Not trying to burst your bub but I don't see were there saying its a LE tyree.
Help, am I missing something. Its a beautiful piece nice catch

Well, I have several corals steve looked at. . Besides, I wasnt asking who cares. Hay thats OK. No big, I just went to the link and didn't see were TYREE sold it to upscales. JMO Thats what I get for asking. LOL
PS I also told dang that it was a good catch. Not bashing dang at all.

So not favia....instead Monastrea! I believe the link says that Steve Tyree actually got a frag from Upscales which he is growing out and selling frags of. He seems to be giving Upscales credit for the lineage but I'm sure it will be considered a Tyree LE in a few years. Of course Tracy is correct though...they all trace back to the Ocean

Thank you B. I was buy no means trying to cause a problem. Just making sure and looking out for dang. We know he takes pride in his corals and sometimes will go out of his way to get a steve tyree coral. After all that name always sells a coral.
PS I just don't want dang to flsuh it.
