Drilling tolerance ??

I am planning a 120 acrylic tank. 3/4'' walls, 1/2'' bottom and top euro. 40'' X 30'' X 24 tall. I would like to ad a closed loop thru the bottom. How close to the sides of the tank can I drill my CL drain (1 1/2''). And how close to that hole can I drill a 3/4'' return line?

As close as you need to. That is one of many advantages over that inferior glass material. The acrylic could care less. J
