if your definition of reef safe is "does not eat corals" then yes, most are. I would be more worried with an eel eating other fish in the tank, than corals.

My snowflake moray is a happy camper in my reef althoug the poor goby that was in there came to an early demise before I knew he would mistake them for shrimp....
