Angels...bicolor angels..can they get egg bound?

We have a bicolor angel that is breathing heavy at the ground, but then swims around..and eats..Her belly is huge tho..and was not like this when we got her 2 weeks ago..just recently.

We tested..everything was fine but the nitrates..they were high..but I am going to recheck them with a new test..to make sure its accurate.

Gehordie (sp?)lol is hopefully * ;) * going to get a pic of it and post it hopefully tomorrow nite..

Any thoughts?

I still think that nitrate test is borked.

I'll *try* to remember to bring my camera tomorrow.

As for the spelling :p, that's how everyone pronounces it anyways... so close enough I guess, heh.

I am guessing a intestinal problem. I certainly hope that is not the case. I wish you luck. Terry will probably need a picture to look at..I wish you luck.
Sincerely,
Ed :(

What have you been feeding and how often? Is she producing any waste?

I watched it for 20 minutes or so off and on and never saw any waste material. It was swiming fine this morning at ~10:00-10:10 and when I fed them, I didn't notice any bulge in the belly though as I wasn't paying specific attention to it.

Feeding mega marine, mysis shrimp..and some formula one....alternating it. Not all at once.

I moved it into a tank to be medicated...cause she was just laying and swimming odd..and I think..the move shocked her. I feel really bad..I was trying to help/

I wouldn't be quick to blame the move to the QT. Sounds like the fish may not have made it anyway.
