As all you all knows or not, maybe heard it from Reef Central, the beckett company just recently stop making they're 1408 beckett injector and will not re-produce it again. So thats the end of beckett skimmers:( . I called up the REP. yesterday and they did confirmed that they wont sell or make it anymore. Im just lucky enough to purchase 3 nozzles last week for my DIY Beckett Skimmer.

Here's a site where you can get the Nozzle.

Here's the thread from Reef Central:

Get your nozzle as soon as possible. They will either jack up the price or won't be available anymore.

Ahh no biggie just swap out the beckett for a educator and you get a way better skimmer anyway,

mojo, how does educator works and where to find it or how to make it? Does it really works better than Beckett? Hmmmmm interesting! Yet another DIY plan change =)

Reefan click in the reviews button on topo of the page. it will take you to our equipemnt page, you can see it under plumbing. I will try to get you a picture on how to use it in a skimmer

Mike, a beckett nozzle is a compact eductor last time I checked. So there has to be another type of jacuzzi nozzle that people can use right? I think if I was building a skimmer I would be using the jet spray type of nozzle, or a needle wheel type anyways so not being able to get a beckett is no big loss for me

thanks mojo, i will check on it. Picture of the eductor would be nice to see since beckett wont be available anymore.

kevin, i would love to have a couple. i have two beckett skimmers and they are fragile so not having access to these is scary. yours will fit a precision marine bullet 1 and 2, right? i've been looking at home depots all around seattle and haven't found them yet so let's make a deal. thanks!
