With all the problems with heat lately and with weather cooling down and heaters starting to turn back on at night. I thought some might find this useful.
I am still looking for a schematic for a temperature controlled relay. I'd like one that would turn the fans off at a certain temp (say 78) and turn the heater off at a temp (say 79) and turn the fans on at say 80. That way I don't have to worry about the heater going nuts or the fans fighting the heater.
I might have to try your plan there though...can't beat the price!
You can get a two stage controller. My control only cycles a few times per day, but never with the halides on. Not not much fighting going on between the two. Heater thermostats are slow to respond so there's always a 1 degree lag either direction.
High tech is cool but, cheap that works is even better.
