feather duster

i have a small feather duster growing out from one of my live rock, how do know if that feather duster is a keeper or do i get rid of it?

just let it be. there's no point in getting rid of it, they help to clean the water (albeit in tiny amounts).

Keep it!!!! They're great little decorations for your tank. They feed off stuff that's floating around your tank....phytoplankton, etc. I have 6 of these guys now.
