Just as it states above.
I bought a Rusty Pygmy Angelfish a few days ago. I want to keep him well fed, to lower the risk of him nipping at my softies.
So if any body has had experience feeding these type of fish please fill me in on what you feed and how.
Thanks
Peppie

If you have mature LR there should be plenty of microalgae for him to graze on until he adjusts to prepared foods, I would try Emerald Entree which is specifically made for Dwarfs mine loved it. AFA nipping corals just about all the one's I kept did it sooner or later. They never consumed my corals but they did irritate some continuously until their demise, the worst was a Potter's and a Bi-color. I loved these fish but eventually I just stopped keeping them since it was a pain to remove them, nobody hides in the rockwork like a Dwarf...lol

Thanks cheeks69. The tank has a good growth of algae for him to munch on. He is already eating frozen foods

The one's I've kept never touched macroalgae, how old is your system ?
Microalgae are microscopic algae and depending on the species their sizes can range from a few micrometers to a few hundreds of micrometers so on a mature tank there should be plenty it. In the wild it makes up a good chunk of their diet so he should be ok. Was he eating before you purchased him ?

In a nut shell 40% of my rock has been in a runnig system for 1 1/2 year the other 60% has been in a running system for 10 mo.
I started with 2, 20 gal AIO then put the contents of those tanks into a 90gal AIO. It had a bad seam. so all went into a 40 br. Again I up graded to another 90 AIO
I belive the tank is some what established.
Yes he was eating at the fish store before I bought him
