feeling bad

i came home to my box fish trapped between two rocks freeed him just kepeted running into everything, like he was blind or something. netted him didnt matter not much life .. so i gave him a burial at sea, feeling bad maybe he would have made it....

could have qt'd him... ive made this mistake meny times... (not saying that you made a mistake)

but b4 i know a lil more about fish's i didnt know that when they fly sideways it means they have a swim bladder infection, i flushed 3 fish that were flying side ways only to save my marroon a few months ago... after he was flying sideways.

you could have placed him in the sump or a still part of the tank... (good idea to have a tank plumbed in for just still water)

Sorry for your loss. It's hard to loose our salty friends (especially when you pay big $$$$ for the darn thing!).

Cloudy eyes is usually caused by bad water conditions or an ich attack to the eyes. qt would have been a good option.
