I have to say, i've had a file fish for 6 months now, and I love him. He is ugly to be sure, but he LOVES aptasia! I tried everything to beat them in my 120, kalk, hot water, etc but they just outran me.
Not anymore, he cleaned up everyone of them, nothing left. He was without them for a month or two, and I was concerned he would starve but he eats flake!
Well last week I moved him to my 75 that I had let grow out aptasia, I mean it was carpeted, and he is methodically moving through each day, weeding out big and small. He is awesome. If you are looking for an aptasia eater, this is it. Although he gets stuck in a net, so not easy to move around.
Anyway, just a thought for everyone out there!!
