Hello Reefers,

I have a Finnex 36" T-5 fixture that holds 4-39w bulbs. In a previous post regarding the conditions of my anemones, it was suggested to change bulbs for my reef and anemones. My main question is, is this fixture enough for the anemones or do I need to invest in a halide fixture? My tank is a 50 gallon which is 36" x 18" x 18".

I wanted to purchase these bulbs, please let me know if this is sufficient. I really want my soft corals and anemones to grow be healthy.

Thank you all again for all your help.

First what size and how deep is your tank?
Second look into the ati blue plus and the geisman style bulbs. There much better bulbs.

We run only Giesemann bulbs in out set up. Our dimensions are 36"wide x 15"deep x 30"tall. We have 4 39w 36" bulbs and seem to be able to grow anything in the tank we want. We run 2 Aquablue+, 1 Actinic+ and 1 Pure Actinic and it gives the tank a really nice color. Don;t know if this is the best but we like it and it seems the corals do too.
