Ok i found out some crazy stuff today. The leaf fish shed's his skin. I was looking at him last night his color looked kinda dull. And now today he has the nice red color when i got him. I was cleaning the tank today and found this big slim ball thing. So i looked on the comp and the info i found said they do this once a month..Didnt know types of fish did this. Kinda crazy

Here is the article This little fish is laterally flattened and oscillates back and forth with the surge in shallow water, in the mimicry of a dead leaf. Along with its dorsal spine, this protects the Leaf fish from predation. This clever camouflage fools the small prey that are its diet.It has the peculiar habit of regularly shedding its skin.
