So its been sometime since i have been on here long story none the less but well it is time to start another tank so here we go.I had a frien move back up here from boise well his tank didnt make it lets say. the back craked not all the way but from the bulk heads down...
.So he was going to throw it away..heck no nice black stand and just my budget free.. So after much dobocle I came up with that u just are not going to just "pull the top and bottom off ..SO after talking to my buddy finding out he had put a new top brace on with a hole tube of caulk I was needless to say stuck so after chipping away with a blade and pulling and praying not to brake the front of the tank..I said enuff after 4 hrs. so I made a block of wood slightly bigger than the top to bottom rail and tapped it in slowly on two corners and pryed.. and pop it started the grissle noise and off it came. bottom was alittle eiser too. so for the rear piece we all know it just doesnt fall off into your hand sooo.. i needed a way to do that.. i came up with a friend pulling slightly and using 12lbs green test fishing line ..(hah) i sawed slowly till pop off it came ..it is 17 $ for the glass and 25$ a hole to redrill..will keep u posted!
