flame angelfish question

Are these pretty easy fish to keep??? We were thinking of getting 2 clowns and this fish. I have had 2 lionfish 1 eel 6 clowns and a leaf fish. And no problems with them. Didnt know if these were picky eaters or not. thanks

What size tank do you have? Need at least 30 gallons. However, if you want this fish to thrive (not just survive), I would suggest at least 75 gallons with lots of cured live rock. You prolly could get away with a 55 gallon, but you need to have plenty of live rock for it to graze.

A Red Sea Aquarium has some awesome flame angels from Hawaii. I purchased a month ago, and eats everything I put in the tank (also grazes all day). Knock on wood, has not bother my LPS (yet).

It would be a 55 gal tank hmmm may have to look around some more then.

You'd be fine if you have open rock work. When I had one it didn't swim in the open a whole lot. Swam around picking at the rocks.
