flame angelfish question

Help Support Reef Aquarium & Tank Building Forum:

What size tank do you have? Need at least 30 gallons. However, if you want this fish to thrive (not just survive), I would suggest at least 75 gallons with lots of cured live rock. You prolly could get away with a 55 gallon, but you need to have plenty of live rock for it to graze.

A Red Sea Aquarium has some awesome flame angels from Hawaii. I purchased a month ago, and eats everything I put in the tank (also grazes all day). Knock on wood, has not bother my LPS (yet). :)

You'd be fine if you have open rock work. When I had one it didn't swim in the open a whole lot. Swam around picking at the rocks.
