Floressing coralin?

So as my tank has settled new things seem to pop up daily. Something that has come up over the last couple days is the dark maroon coralin alge is starting to get light colored areas that floress. It makes for a very interesting look under just the blue LEDs but is a new phenomanon to me. The live rock is aquacultured rock from the gulf.

Is this common? Thanks for any input!! Zach

Idk about common, but I had the same thing on my rock to. Bright pink when the moon lights turned on. I think its pretty awesome seeing all the new things popping up each day. Wait till you start seeing hitch hikers that when the real excitement kicks in . Congrates on the new tank.

I think it is probably common. I see it to in a couple of my tanks with LED's. The reason for it, that I dont know.
