OK I got a 45 acryllic with a corner over flow. Right now with a 3 section sump/fuge I have an eheim 1250 on it and have about 200gph give or take. Works pretty well. Now I need to add a chiller to the outfit. Most 1/10 chillers need 400+ gph flow. If I just change the size of the return pump to like a 1260, you think my 1 bulkhead, 3/4" will handle that much drainage? Its not like if I take off the standpipe now I get a whole lot more flow.
My plan is to route it back up thorugh a seaswirl, so I also I have a spare mag 7 laying around, but then I would need 700+gph through the bulkhead and I dont think that will happen. Any suggestions? I dont see any way, even if I had the room to put a pump in the tank that would give me 400+ flow down and up through the chiller.
