I was wondering what you guys feed your corals (filter feeders)? I've been using Marine Snow, but I'm just wondering if there is anything else out there that is better.

not necessarily better, but some use Cyclopeeze bars. I use a mixture of cyclopeeze and mysis shrimp for the larger LPS and feed 2-3 times a week.

I've been using Brightwell Zooplankton L and S. Usually feed 5ml of each 2 maybe 3 times a week.

chichas,

does this product cause any algae breakout issues?? some time ago, i used to use DT plankton, but it caused an algae breakout so i stopped using it..

just curious....

Hasn't for me yet. I don't feed it more than 20-25ml over a weeks time for my system. I have no fish at all right now so that probably helps me out with my algae issues or lack thereof

I feed my tank a mixture of cyclopeeze, a couple different sizes of TDO, often times with some coral frenzy, spirulina, and oyster feast all mixed in... I take all of that, mix it, freeze it, and then thaw and break chunks off in the tank daily to feed the corals and the fish.. If I grew my own rots or phyto I'd probably throw those into the mixture as well!

LPS gets formula 2 pellets when I remember as a special treat as well..... because I have them, really no other reason for those - hahaha
