At night I have worm/tentacle creatures that extend out of the rock. They do not have a shell/tube that I can see, they are a long thin string that will retract and extend. Does anyone know what these are? Will they bug my corals?

I agree my description could be a lot of things. I read up on peanut worms but that is not it. My creatures are about the thickness of sewing thread and a inch or two long with a tuft at the end of it. I will try and get a picture but tough since they are so small and only active at night. I am not sure what their attachment looks like since they are usually coming out of a hole or crevice. If I try and pull them out they retract quickly and if I manage to catch them they break in half.
