fuge bulb geared for cheato?

There were a couple threads addressing this before, but I cant find them anymore, it was a florescent that people were getting from home depot or lowes real cheap. Anyone remember this?

Take a look at Melevs web site. They are a CF inside a spot light but I dont think you can get them at HD or lowes. I checked about 3 months ago with no luck but that may have changes. IIRC they were 6700K

Check your local hydroponics shop. I was at a shop here in Seattle in Fremont (they have all sorts of cool indoor plants and a hydroponics section) and they have a lighting section. In that section are a large selection of flourescent bulbs in different wattages and different temeratures. The one I was looking at for my planted tank on my desk at work was $8 and I think 26 watts. It was a 6500K bulb.
