I know euphyllia's can touch each other without harm - with the exception of torch corals of course - and experienced this myself when we had 3 frogspawns touching all in a row. What about galaxea? I know they have the long sweeper tentacles & very strong stingers, but will a galaxea harm another galaxea if they are neighbors? Common sense tells me yes but I have to ask. We have 1 galaxea now and I would love to eventually get a 2nd one. It is my favorite coral to watch from a distance & reminds me of a starfield.

Anytime two corals, even of the same species thouch you run the risk of warfare happening. Even with frogspawn. However, if the two corals are from the same region the risk decreases slightly. In the case of galaxea, IMO, I wouldn't try it. It's been my experience that anything with sweepers no matter if their the same species/region/etc. can sting the crud out of each other, unless one is a direct descendent from the other (parent) colony.
