Gigas needs help

I looked in my grow out tank and found a hole on one of my gigas.

HELP!!!!

WOW. I have a gigas that had this same thing on the adge of the mantle. Thank god, after some time it went away. I will follow along. Best of luck.

Have you made any changes to the tank lately?
What are your water param's?
Is there any possibility any salt creep may have fallen on the clam?


I recently had one of my squamosa's do the same and I figured out it was from salt creep burning the mantle.

That giga doesnt look good. You could try a FW dip if it doesnt get better

a fwd won't help this clam. It is probably doing this due to stress
