Eh, I would pass. The lenses that come with that package would be pretty much useless. I would find a used body (probably $600'ish for an XTi, $400-$500 for an XT) and get some good glass. The quality of pictures will only be as good as the glass, you would be limiting yourself right from the start with that package.

Are you interested in a good (many say the best) macro lens? I'm thinking of parting with my Canon EF 100mm F/2.8 macro lens to fund the Sigma 150mm (I need more reach). It would go nicely with that new XTi
