Good Morning Reeffrontiers!

Sorry to be away for such long stretches everyone. I had a good turn around in my business this year and it is consuming most of my time.

Thought I would start a morning thread for all you early birds. Basically it is a good morning thread Pretty much post anything you like here that pertains to your morning.

My mornings are early, my dog Biscuit is on medications for the rest of his life and I need to get them to him early. He's a great dog. If anyone knows me from about 7 years ago in my old threads, my dog got hit by a car back then and basically rewrote my life from that one incident.

I ended up uprooting my wife and child from the bowels of NYC and moved them to SC. Life has been much happier (and hotter!) since then.

Biscuit is my alarm clock. He is very addicted to his meds and food. So there is not much sleeping in for us anymore. He makes all kinds of noises to get the family going in the early mornings. Today he sounded like a cow stuck in the marsh belly deep. Sometimes he just gnaws on my big toe until i get up. Being a Weimaraner he is pretty smart and there is no door lock that can bar him.

He's also a coffee thief! If you ever visit my home your sure to see a coffee mug up high somewhere out of his reach.

Well time to get to work. Just wanted to touch base with all of you and wish you all a happy morning.

Well the whole Bahamas (well except for those that have slave driver's for bosses or work in hospitals etc) has the day off. Today is what we call August Monday Holiday!! Every August, the first Monday that comes around we get a it off as a public holiday!! Not sure what's the reason, but I don't even care!!!

Hey Frankie, good to hear that your busy and doing better, nothing wrong with having work and being busy. We all get busy at times so that is why we brought in a few extra hands to help run the site, that way someone will always be around if something major happens lol!

Good morning!

My cats are the alarm clock. They start jumping on and off the bed around 6 am. I feed them, start the coffee. Then it's off to the showers and my 30 foot commute to my home office.

I hate mornings...Actually I hate not getting more sleep! First thought that goes thru my head EVERY morning when I get up between 3:50 and 4:00 am is, "I can go back to sleep when I get on the ferry boat."
I get up, shower, get dressed, and then its off to take care of the dog and the fish. The dog is let out side while I am topping off the fish tanks. I still manually top off the tanks and dose calc/alk every morning. Then the dog comes in and she gets her treats. I feed the fw fish. Three betas and an overstocked 25 gal planted tank. Get my lunch and stuff together and headed out at 5:00am for my two our commute to work.
That is my typical work day morning.

Well GOOD MORNING Frankie & ALL. Being semi-retired I now like the mornings much more so then when I had to get up, my internal alarm clock gets me up and going about 6:30 each day. Showered and dressed then downstairs to our very spoiled dog Shadow where she very impatiently waits for me to start my coffee before she gets her biscuit and chicken treat. Log on to see whats up while eating breakfast til lights on in tank and thier feeding/dosing time (and lately to see what corals Mama Clown has moved around). This has pretty much become my routine unless I'm off to go fishing. About ready to join the Workforce again so, will have to re-learn to hate Mondays all over again.

I'd shoot myself if I had to get up that early every day! . LOL!! Well, having a baby does that to you, but atleast it only lasts a few months. Last night was the first night in many months that Spencer didn't get up once and he's 18 months! He is a terrible sleeper! 6 am he's ready to go no matter what time he went to bed. Today my parents head back home which was why I haven't been here much. I've been spending time with them. Now it's back to teh same old routine again...
