Hi everyone I have recently acquired a chunk of candy Cane coralthat has 6 of these btas living on it I know that they will get to big to stay in my bc14 and was wondering if they would surviveunder led lighting(basic lights for my Fowler), I have no where else toput them and really want them to do good. Any help would be great I will post pics asap as far are light goes it's basic led at 1400 lumens

By your description, these are not Bubble tip anemones, but most likely Majano anemones which are generally undesirable, but some likr them in a nano. They stay quite small as in up to an inch...

+1 on Mike's comment ^above^ Same morph of Mojanos I had which took two years to finally rid my tank of (Matted Filefish) and at least much more atractive than the common brown ones. If you have or plan on having a Raccoon, Copperband or Kleini B-fly they should keep the population in check for you.

Cheers, Todd

Here is a picture of a pretty majano anemone, when bright like this they are often called "tulip anemones"

Majano anemones reproduce readily, spreading all over the tank. They sting other corals and thus if you currently have any hard corals or plans for them, best to remove these pests.
