I got a green polyped toadstool from Luisse on here and it had like 1/8" long polyps with bright green ends, very nice. Then it closed and didn't open for a couple weeks. Now its starting to extend it's polyps again and they are shorter, like 1/64" with flesh colored polyps. Is this a normal thing? I think it acclimated it's self and grew new polyps but not sure. It's getting more polyps extending each day so I know it's getting happy.

I've never heard of a leather changing its color of polyps. I'm betting it bleached or was very stressed and will regain its color soon enough now that its getting happy again.

The polyps are not extended yet at that length. The polyps are still inside the stems. It will polyp fully again. Does it look like it has a film over it? If it does, its shedding its outer layer and you can blow that off. It will help it polyp out sooner.
