growth

I have a rock with some pollyps on it. Yesterday I noticed on the back that there are 3 round bumps growing. 2 are approx. 3/4" across and the other is 1/2" across. they are round and look like cacoons, with a small pinhole on them. If they werent in my tank I would think that they were a spider or wasp nest growing? I know a picture would help but I thought I would see if anyone had any ideas.

Yep, that's one most of us can be pretty sure of without pics...lol. Sponges will grow all over the dark sides of your live rock usually. They are beneficial as they filter the water.

Thanks, I was afraid something was going to hatch and run all over my tank. Good to know something good is growing in my tank for once.
