Gurnard

This is my latest aquisition from the Gulf. I'm sure it's some sort of gurnard. The only photo I could find for gurnards in the gulf is the flying gurnard. However I don't think that's it. I've found mention of a leopard gurnard but no photo. What do you think?

You are right it doesn't look like a flying gurnard. I think their bodies are more spotted. The first pic works for me not the second. Can you get a picture of it from the side?

The pic was there for a second and now it is gone. So I need to see it again. It is not a Gurnard but a Sea Robin,Triglidae family, IMHO (till I see pic again) Bandtail Sea Robin (Prionotus ophyras).
