went to the big show in Atlantic City today and had a great time. there were so many large and small companies showing off their wares. it was predomonated by the dog and cat products, but was fairly represented by bird reptile and fish. it has been 7-8 yrs since i have gone to the show and it has taken on a different feel as compared to the past shows, or it could be that i wasnt buying for an entire store.

i met up with Sharks there and hope to get out to his store tomorrow. i also ran across many old friends from the industry, and laughed over old times.

and last but not least......booth 1349! yep ,the MACNA Booth. had a great time talking with Moe, Joe, Ron, and Marvin. they have many great things planned for the show as shown on the MACNA site. also sitting right next to them was Julien Sprung. he was in a quiet mood but promised to save me a seat up front at his presentation.

finally here is (Leftt to right) Joe, Ron, and Marvin. (Moe had to go and get the free cricket shirt just like mine)

Anything cool and exciting in the world of fish?

Love the MACNA booth - very Reef-like!!

Thanks for sharing this, Wit! :)

nothing really at this show, it has gotten more commercial than before. i used to come home with 30+ tshirts and all kinds of goodies. but now it felt like buy my stuff and here is a funsized candy bar. the only gifts i got was a few quickrelease keychains, a nifty tennisball with a solid rubber core ( my chocolate lab, Moose, loves it), and a t-shirt i got for eating a live cricket (yes Moe went to go get one too)...lol

the BRS booth was way cool looking, the ORA frag tank was a mini version of it with holes to stick the frag bases in,,,,that was pretty and a pretty nifty idea.
