Halide bulbs

I need new bulbs bit always a bit worried buying off the net,,,

how bad could these bulbs be if they were a copy??
Need alot of help with this subject.

I would get bulbs that you know are going to look good.nothing to tick you off more than wasting money on bulbs that will make your tank look like garbage. I'm a Reeflux fan but it also depends on what balast your running.

Yeah i know, the prob is i can't see what these look like as they are sold over the net. Just got an email back from the company and they say these bulbs are genuine Geissmann, so at 14000k (which is what i currently run) i think/hope they should do the job???

I do not know anything about those bulbs, they have different names then the normal aquarium bulbs.

The normal reef aquarium 14,000k is called the mega chrome. The boxes are completely different as well, so I don't know if these are just really old bulbs or what.
