hang on back eequipment safe?

I was just wondering, I see alot of hang on the back type equipment, and I myself have a hang on the back skimmer. Does this create too much stress on back fishtank wall? I have a 55 gallon glass tank, is their a limit to what I should hang on the back? I was considering a hang on the back refugium.

you should have any problems with any of the products on the market, just dont go trying to make your own 10 gal hang refuge or something else bizaar. keep it simple and I would worry about any of it..
