I have some hard clear red tubes on some of the skeletal section of someof my corals, such as hammer, frogspawn. Are these red bugs and if so how do I treat this, or should I worry? Thanx Mike

I don't know what they are without a picture. However, they aren't red bugs. Reg bugs are so small that you almost need a magnifying glass to see them.

I doubt they are pyram snails. They look like this: Pyramidelline Snails, and are usually found on clams or attached to larger snails.

I suspect they are either Vermatid Snail or Feather Dusters. If you see spider web type material located around the tube or coming out of the tube, then they are most likely Vermatid Snails.

The other possibility: Feather Dusters

Post a pic if you can!

Do they look like anything in this pic? Don't mind the hydroids, the little red sticks are Vermetids. :)
