Hello Lee. How safe are HT in a reef tank.

i think this was asked awhile back.I dont remember what the anwser was but i do remember agustas had one in his 100gallon softie /LPS tank and he said it did fine .I dont remeber if he had it in with any SPS though.Someone else has that fish now though

most eat snails and crabs, they like to crunch.

I'm not worried about sanils crabs or shrimps just as long it leaves my corals alone. Yeah I did ask this once didn't I LOL.

they can be pretty tough to keep. might have to pull apart your reef once in awhile to QT it.

I believe the reason they are not reef safe is because they inverts and crusties. I'm not sure if they eat corals but I do know they are only recommended for a FOWLR aquarium. Lee had one awhile back...beautiful fish.
