Harliquin tusk

Just wondering if anyone has kept a harliquin tusk in a reef with larger shrimp. I have a huge bannded shrimp and two three inch cleaners. I got the petco special of the year. A four inch tusk for 24.99! I have a display refugium I would put him in but would love to have him in the reef if possible.... Thanks

Wow what a deal! They are about two hundred bucks plus up here. I'd take the chance and put him in. Just keep him well fed...thats got to make a huge difference? I've known a person here that has had one with cleaner shrimp and never had a problem...but that doesn't mean their all like that.

thats a great buy, It may be safe with large shrimp that have already been in there before the tusk, but any new additions would surley be gonners.
It is definately a gamble..

Tusks here are around $125.00 and thats for a fairly small one. I'd think atleast twice about it..
