Has anyone ever modified a seaclone 100 skimmer

Here is the problem..... I have a 35gal hex with a true perc clownfish and a small Singapore angel. I have this stupid seaclone 100 protein skimmer and no matter what I do to adjust it I never get any foam.... scuzzy water yes.... foam no.

Has anyone modified this so it would actually work. Its a hang on the back type and with a hex tank you have very little room for much of anything.

As you have noticed it is a crappy little skimmer. i was able to mod one years back and got it to perform a little. I still had to tinker with it constantly to keep the foam going. Also the best skimmate i ever achieved was a light tea color. HTH
